Oatmeal banana Pancakes

Who loves a fast, easy, and healthy breakfast? We sure do! We also love how we can incorporate our very own Almond Milk to create these tasty pancakes. Almond Milk is a great alternative for Cow's Milk. Almond milk is lower in calories, it is free of saturated fat, and it is naturally lactose- free. Swapping cow's milk with almond milk can help prevent an inflammatory response or/and an intolerance in our body. We prepare our Almond Milk with cinnamon and agave to give it a sweet creamy taste, perfect for the holidays and this recipe below!

This recipe requires simple plant based ingredients, so easy you won't miss boxed floured pancakes. You will need the following ingredients:

1 1/4 Cup of oat flour (place oats in a blender or processor and ground oats to a fine flour like consistency)

1 Ripe banana

3/4 Cup of Jujuice Almond Milk (cinnamon and agave already included! Which means less ingredients on your list )

1 tsp of baking powder

1/2 tsp of vanilla powder or vanilla extract

Coconut oil or Coconut oil spray to coat your pan and prevent sticking. (we love HEB Select Ingredients cooking spray coconut oil

because it has no additives, chemicals, or propellant. Just the oil. )

Then blend all the ingredient in a blender or processor to get a nice pancake batter.

Once your frying pan is heated, spray your pan or coat it with coconut oil.

Pour or scoop the batter onto the pan and cook for about 3 minutes on each side.

There you have it! Healthy, fast, easy and yummy! Don't forget to top them off with your favorite topping such as nuts, fruits, or cocoa nibs. We promise your family will love them <3
